Personal Information Collected by Us

We collect information from you when you sign up to become an Associate to use the Platform or sign up for notifications. You may be required to provide us with personal information about yourself, such as your photograph, name, social security number, address, phone number, and email address. We do not collect any of this information from you when you use our services, Site, or Platform unless and until you provide us with such information voluntarily, but by not providing any or all such information you may be unable to take full advantage of the opportunities available on the Platform, if use it at all or gain access to it.

Our database for user information includes user name, photograph, name, email address, Project history, phone number, social security number, as well as any business association or other identifying information voluntarily provided by user. This database is kept secure by SSL encryption

Billing Information

In order to process Associate Dues, which are required touse the Platform, you will be required to provide information that may include a debit card number, credit card number, billing address, and similar information that will make transactions possible. We collect this information in order to process payments from users. We do not collect any of this information from you when you use our services, Platform, or Site unless and until you provide us with such information voluntarily.

We use third party services to handle credit card and payment transactions. As such, we do not control or design the security measures these third party services have in place. Furthermore, because we use third party services to handle credit card and payment transactions, we are not directly exposed to user billing information and we do not retain this information for our own records.

In summary, we collect the following personal information through our Site, Platform, and only when the user voluntarily provides such information to us. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process user requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.

The following types of personal information are automatically collected through use of our services, the Site, and/or the Platform. Protection Your Information

General Protection

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect user information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us over the Internet. Children

You must be age 18 or older to become an Associate and use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not send or provide us any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce the Privacy Statement by instructing their children to never provide personal information without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

Password/Account Protection

User information is segregated and kept separate from other users by account-based access rules. User accounts have unique sign-in names and passwords that must be entered each time a user logs on. The unique nature and complexity of passwords are created and defined by the user. We are not responsible for the password created and used by the user, the protection provided by the user-generated password, or any security concerns or liabilities associated with the way the user maintains that password. We keep a record of user passwords but all passwords are maintained securely and altered from plain-text format for added protection.

Necessary Disclosure of Some Personal Information to Third Parties

We may share personal information and/or other information with other Associates. We may provide Associates with other Associates’ information so that Associates can communicate and pursue and complete projects. The Associate’s use of such information is restricted or otherwise limited by Confidentiality, Non-Solicitation, Non-Compete, and Non-Circumvent Provisions on the Associate’s Associate Agreement.

Disclosure Required by Law

To the extent permitted by law, we may also disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency, or whenever we believe that disclosing such information is necessary or advisable, for example, to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, the Platform, or others.

Disclosure for Billing and Customer Service

We may contract with and employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples may include providing billing services and customer service. These other companies or individuals will have access to user information only as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law. We may also limit the scopes of the types of information used and how it is used through our contract with the third party.

Disclosure through Sale of Our Company

If all or substantially all of our assets are acquired, we expect that user information would be transferred along with the other business assets to the acquiring party. However, what information is transferred as well as how that information is used will not be determined until the time all or substantially all assets are transferred. Keeping your data secure also depends on you ensuring that you maintain the security of your account by using sufficiently complicated passwords and storing them safely. You should also ensure that you have sufficient security on your own systems and that you control access to these systems.

Recommendations for Users: How to Protect Private Information

Con artists have devised clever ways to trick people into revealing personal information online. The following recommendations are made for the user’s convenience and not for any other purposes. For our users’ convenience, we offer users the following tips in order to protect private information from their end:

Log off and close your browser. We recommend that after accessing your account information online that you Log Off of the Site and/or Platform. Some of your account information may stay in your browser’s memory until the browser is closed. You may wish to clear your browser’s history and delete cookies and other website data.

Open all of our communications in a timely manner. If you have any question about a communication, contact us immediately.
